Reach out to your targeted recipient organization and let them know you’d like to sponsor a campaign to say thanks. If they agree, secure a point of contact to work with you during the campaign. This point of contact will, in most cases, be responsible for receiving and distributing the donated gifts.
Step 2 – Build and launch your campaign
Once your Sponsor/CAMPAIGN Application has been submitted, Love For The Line will contact the person you designated as your point of contact within the targeted organization receiving the gifts to confirm their commitment to participate. This will normally take 1 to 2 weeks.
Step 3 – Launch and manage your Campaign
You will be notified that your point person has been confirmed and your campaign is approved/rejected usually within 2 weeks of submitting your Sponsorship/Campaign Application.
Now that your campaign has been approved, your responsibilities as sponsor are focused on building awareness and securing donations to meet the financial goal you established for your campaign.
You are also responsible for tracking campaign progress and serving as the point of contact on this campaign to Love For The Line if questions or concerns arise.
Work with your point of contact in the receiving organization to ensure delivery and distribution of the gifts. You are encouraged to set up a “gift giving event” to provide public recognition of the organization (basically, an opportunity for you to say thank you in person and present the gift
