Just 2 years ago, leaders in the Boulder community came together to form the Boulder Police Foundation (BPF). The purpose of the BPF is to provide visible support to our heroes in blue and fund important projects that are not included in the City’s annual budget. Projects for which funding is being sought online can be seen on this web site. In addition, the BPF introduced in 2024 its first annual “Flatirons Finest Black Tie Gala.” The Gala brings together industry, civic, and political leaders from across Boulder to show support and raise money for our Boulder Police Department. This first Gala was a tremendous success smashing the targeted financial and emotional support goals for the event.

To date, the BPF has provided full funding to support BPD’s first K9 unit, a series of professionally produced recruiting videos, and rifle round resistant custom fitted bullet proof vests for BPD officers.
