These donations create a ready source of funds for small items not in the current budget. For example - extra police family events, unforecasted awards, unanticipated minor equipment needs.
Why does it matter:
Leadership within the Boulder Police Department needs a quick and easy way to fund unanticipated small items without going through a work-intensive budget process. How the money will be used:
These donations create a ready source of funds for small items not in the current budget. For example – the money could be used for extra police family events, unforecasted awards, unanticipated minor equipment needs.
Donate us to achieve our goal
Beguiled and demoralized by the charms of pleasure of the moment, so by desire, that they cannot foresee.

Because of my connection with the Boulder Police via luncheons twice a year, I am now much more aware of how important it is to offer them help and encouragement. They stand between us and danger on a daily basis. Here in South Boulder I can hear their sirens even down in town and utter a prayer for their safety. These men and women are our heroes!

Thank you, Officer Andy Mills (22-7410) and Officer Mike Esparza (23-10241), for two separate cases that you handled with the utmost care and professionalism. I am grateful to the BPD.
