When someone becomes the victim or witness of a crime, the hours and days that follow can feel isolating, confusing, and overwhelming. The Boulder Police Department's Victim Services Unit exists to make sure no one has to face that alone. Since 1986, Victim Services advocates have responded alongside officers to help victims and their families cope with trauma, understand their rights, and connect with the resources they need to heal.
